WYLLL Snack Shack Coverage Policies
Our Snack Shack is a major source of revenue for our league and something all our families enjoy. The money we earn helps keep our registration costs down and helps fund improvements to our facility. Please read carefully to ensure you understand the policy of the Snack Shack and please sign and return it to your team parent. Failure to work your snack shack shift will result in a $150 fine, payable to the league to have to cover your shift.
- Each family is required to complete 1 shift per player.
- Each shift is approximately 2-3 hours depending on the day of the week. Weekday shifts are slightly longer than weekend shifts.
- How NOT to be fined $150 for not working your shift:
- It’s up to you to sign up for your shift on signup.com.
- Make sure you show up for your assigned shift.
- If you hire someone, make sure they show up for your assigned shift.
- Don’t arrive more than 15 minutes late and/or you leave early from your shift.
- You fail to wear the appropriate attire for your shift (closed toed shoes & hair pulled back).
4. No cancellations will be allowed. Once a shift is selected and locked in through signup.com, the shift must be covered by you, a teen hire, or find another adult. Failure will result in a $150 fine.
5. The Approved Teen Hire list will be provided by Team Parents / Managers, and it will be located in the snack shack for you to reference. This is provided as a courtesy and these teens have been provided with the proper training. Teen family members will only be allowed to cover your family’s shift(s), if he/she is not on the Approved Teen Hire list; but must be at least 16 years old to work and you must train them yourself prior to the shift.
6. Please check the game schedule and your calendar for possible conflicts before selecting your shift. Any conflicts are your responsibility, you cannot leave to go watch your game if you scheduled your shift during game time. NO EXCEPTIONS, the fine will apply if you leave during your shift!
7. Only sign up for the required number of shifts.
8. If your shift is cancelled due to weather and/or the fields are closed, you will be required to reschedule your shift.
9. All shifts will be required to be scheduled by a specified timeframe once the game schedule has been released.
10. You must sign up for your shift by February 10th .
